Be About It. (Mission Statement)

In a world where bills have to get paid and needs have to be met, a decision has to be made. Some people choose to screw everybody and stack paper (literally or figuratively) for the rest of their lives, while others can't get rid of their concern for social justice and issues regarding their people. We are a part of the latter school of thought. This blog will highlight stories of interest to us and to others just like us, and provide a place for good discussion on things that we still care about. We, in essence, are in the system but not of it. Hence the title.
Don't talk about it, be about it. Well... talk about it here and together we can be about it.
We want to take requests from you for discussion and we'll also provide some links to make you think. We have much on our minds and would like to share our world with you. With that said, we would like to welcome you all to In It Not of It.
